RL with Suze, just for lulz.

It was early evening and Flash was on monitor duty up in the Watchtower. Since it wasn't that late, there were still Leaguers wandering around somewhere, probably, but for the moment he was on his own in the control room.

...he really wished he could turn on some music or something. Monitor duty was boring 85% of the time.

"Psh. They'll hardly even know what hit 'em. You, on the other hand..."

"Right, well, try all you like, but if you make me go on, my revenge won't be too far behind," she said, shooting him an evil looking stare.

Flash managed to grin rather evilly. "We'll see."

"Yeah, I guess we will," Suze replied.

Just then a ring sounded from her coat pocket. She jumped a bit, then dug into the pocket and pulled out her cell phone.

"Hey," she said as she flipped the phone open. "All done? Great. I'll meet you at Father Dom's. Yep. Love you, bye."

She clicked the phone shut. "That was my boyfriend. I need to go meet him. Think you'll be able the rest of the shift without me?"

Flash raised an eyebrow. "Boyfriend?" He grinned. "Oh, I think I can manage. It's not like I can keep you from a boyfriend anyway."

He stopped for a second.

"Hey, how did you get service here anyway?"

Suze thought about Flash's question for a moment. "That's actually a good question," shesaid starring down at her phone. "Maybe I used it to access DDD a few too many times. I'll never really understand how that place works."

Flash shrugged. "Whatever, that place is just weird. Anyway, you should probably get going. Don't want to keep the boyfriend waiting," he said with a grin.

"Right," Suze grinned back. "I had fun today. I'll let you know when I've got some free time for Disney okay? And if Batty gives you any trouble, send him my way okay?"

"Yeah, I'm glad you dropped in, even if I do get killed for it." He snapped his fingers and pointed at Suze. "Right. I'll be sure to do that," he said, grinning. "Have a safe... uh... trip. Back."

"Will do," Suze laughed and waved goodbye before closing her eyes and hopping home.

Flash blinked after Suze had left, a bit surprised at her sudden disappearance. He shrugged, though, and turned back to the screens, sighing. It was going to be a long night after all.
