Flash had only been a turtle for two days, but he was really tired of it.

So tired that he was, in fact, sleeping. Shayera had gone off to do... something, he had no idea what, but she had been nice enough to leave him on her bed, and he had been fast asleep for a while.

Do turtles snore? Probably not, but if they did Flash would probably be snoring right now.

After agreeing to play Aquaman at a game of chess again, losing as was usual, Shayera had come back to her room. Aquaman certainly grew tired of her presence quickly. She knew he hated what she had become, and she hated it too.

When she got back to her room the distinct sound of snoring could be heard. Turtles did not snore. Humans snored. Sure enough, Flash was asleep on her bed and he was human once again. And there was the undeniable fact that he was naked.

At first, Shayera blushed at the sight of one of her closest friends naked in her bed. Then she became aggravated. He had to leave. Immediately. She left for a moment and came back with a pitcher full of water and ice. Without hesitation she dumped all the contents on Flash's sleeping form.

"Get up! You're leaving!" She told him sternly.

Well that was a sudden and unexpected way to wake up.

Flash flailed and yelled "AAAAUGH WHAT THE HELL," as he woke up, then he paused for a moment as several things hit him at once.

One, he was a lot bigger than he was when he went to sleep.

Two, he had actually made a noise using his vocal chords.

Three, he was naked.

"OH GOD I'M NAKED."

"Really?! I hadn't noticed!" She shot at him. This was the most awkward situation she had been in in a long time... or ever for that matter.

She threw a pair of pants at him that Dr. Fate had provided for her when she went for the water. "Put these on. NOW!"

Flash's reflexes were back to normal, but unfortunately he was still getting used to being a human again so there was a moment where he was fumbling, trying to catch the pants.

He put them on quickly, "quickly" for Flash being "really very fast," and they were a little tight, but it was better than nothing, that's for sure.

"Uhh... this is awkward."

At least he was clothed now. That made the situation a little less awkward.

"If you tell anyone about this, I swear, it will be the last thing you do, Wally!" She threatened. The last thing she needed was the League on her about this. Especially if John were to find out and misinterpret it.

"Whoa hey, why would I want to tell people? That would be... really weird." Yeah, it was less awkward, but it was still pretty strange.

"Exactly. So keep it that way," She told him. She hoped Batman didn't ask too many questions. "You should probably head back now that you're normal."

"Okay, sure. I need to run after all that... not running anyway. Later!"

With a blur, he disappeared.

A split second later, he reappeared at the door and said, "oh, by the way, I'm totally going to get you back for all of that earlier. Just so you know." And then he disappeared again.

Damn it felt good to run again.
