RL with Suze, just for lulz.

It was early evening and Flash was on monitor duty up in the Watchtower. Since it wasn't that late, there were still Leaguers wandering around somewhere, probably, but for the moment he was on his own in the control room.

...he really wished he could turn on some music or something. Monitor duty was boring 85% of the time.

"Fine," Suze nodded her smirk gone now and replaced with a more friendly smile. "Then we'll leave it at that."

"So when do you get off duty here?"

Flash grinned and rolled his eyes. "Midnight. Then GL comes by and I get to go sleep. If I haven't fallen asleep already, that is."

"Do we want to make the drop then?" Suze asked. "I'd take you now, but somehow I have a feeling you're in enough trouble as it is."

"Well if I'm not now, then I probably will be. And you will be, too, by the way. But I'll be in more trouble. But yeah, if I'm awake enough, then definitely."

"Don't worry about me. I'm a big tough girl," Suze joked.

Flash grinned. "Oh, I don't doubt that. I just want to make sure you know."

"Oh I know," Suze laughed. "I've talked to a Batman before. Though I don't know if it was the same one...Anyways, I'll be fine."

"...yeah, having two of them around really confused me at first, but they act pretty differently so it's easy to tell 'em apart. So, if you're sure, then good luck with that. I know I'm going to need it. It's not just going to be Batman on my ass, that's for sure. They're all going to be up in arms about it."

"I'll stick around if you want me to explain," Suze offered. "I mean technically it is my fault I suppose."

"If you want, go ahead. I'm not going to force you."

Suze spotted a chair and pulled it over and promptly sat down on it.

I've got time," she replied.

Flash shrugged. "Okay."

He also sat down, relaxing with his legs up on the controls and his hands behind his head.

"...so, why did you come here, anyway? You never said."

Suze pulled up her legs so that she was sitting with her legs crossed on the chair. She looked across at Flash and shrugged.

"I was bored, so I thought I'd come visit."

"And you chose me of all people! I'm flattered."

"Well I would have visited Bella, but she's busy with all the wedding stuff, and for all I know she could be hanging out with her vampire pals and I doubt they'd appreciate me popping in without warning," Suze replied.

"So don't be too flattered."

"Aw, come on. Did you have to pop the bubble of happy joy? Spoilsport. And here I was thinking I was special or something. Guess I was wrong."

"You don't need me to tell you you're special. I mean, look at how fast you run," Suze snorted.

"Yeah, okay, you've got a point there." Flash grinned and let his gaze wander over the myriad screens displaying different parts of the world below.

He sighed. "Another boring night, I guess." He blinked. "Well, boring until you showed up, anyway. If it's a typical night you won't get to see anything interesting."

Suze followed Flash's gaze and frowned at the screens. "Aw poo and here I thought I'd seem some crazed villian attempting to crush all humanity and rise to be dictator of the world."

Flash laughed. "Well, we can't rule out that possibility. The others don't know you're here yet, but it's only a matter of time. Since I'm Mr. Monitor right now, it might take 'em longer. Who knows."

Suze laughed for a moment, but managed to pull herself together rather quickly. "I just thought, my stepbrother Doc is going to kill me when he finds out I met the Justice League," she said, still breathing unevenly from laughing.

"Well that doesn't sound good," Flash said, a wide grin on his face, "D'you think an autograph or something might keep his wrath in check?"

"Oh man, he would love me forever if you did that for me," Suze said, looking rather inspired.

"Well, anything for a fan, I guess." Flash paused. "Well, almost anything."

He grinned. "Hang on, let me get a piece of paper." There was a blur as Flash disappeared in search of the paper. Just a few seconds later he was back in the seat with a pen and paper.

"So, what's his name?"

Suze looked a little shocked as Flash left and returned, but did her best not to show it all the same.

"Do-" Suze began, but stopped herself. "I mean David."
