RL with Suze, just for lulz.

It was early evening and Flash was on monitor duty up in the Watchtower. Since it wasn't that late, there were still Leaguers wandering around somewhere, probably, but for the moment he was on his own in the control room.

...he really wished he could turn on some music or something. Monitor duty was boring 85% of the time.

"Interesting and a pain," Suze replied. "Stupid ghosts whining all the time. Makes having a normal social life rather difficult."

"Bummer. Are they all over the place?"

Flash paused and looked around.

"Are there any in here?"

"Pretty much," Suze said with a nod.

"Nah, no dead people here. Trust me, I would have started this conversation alot more grumpy if there had been."

Flash looked a bit relieved. "Well that's good. I don't think I'd be able to handle being watched by Batman and who knows how many ghosts at the same time. That'd just be creepy."

"Creepy indeed," Suze smirked. "At least most of them know to keep out of bathrooms and places like that. Otherwise things would get really creepy."

Flash shuddered. "Oh man, I do not want to think about that."

"No,you really really don't," Suze laughed.

"But I know how much the lying part of secret identities must suck," she told him. Doc's the only one in my family who knows anything about it."

"Yeah, it does suck sometimes. I try not to let it get me down, though. It isn't really that bad, most of the time. Who's Doc?"

Suze waved the autographed piece of paper in the air. "David. My stepbrother. He's Doc, and the other two are Dopey and Sleepy."

"Right. Gotcha. I hope you don't call them that to their faces." Flash was grinning.

"No, of course not," Suze replied. "Mom'd kill me if I did."

"Not to mention I don't think they'd be too happy about it, either."

"Well I don't really care what Dopey or Sleepy think, but I wouldn't want to bum Doc out," Suze shrugged again. "He's a nice kid, unlike his brothers."

"One out of three isn't bad. At least you got one nice sibling. Better than none. And it's always good to have someone you can share your secrets with."

"Yeah," Suze agreed. "What about you. I don't really remember, do you have someone who knows about your ah...Flashyness?"

"Well, the League, obviously. And yeah, there's... a couple of people."

"That's good," she smiled. "Being a mediator is a pain, but it was alot worse when I didn't have anyone to tell back in New York."

"Yeah, I can imagine how that would be. It can be pretty hard sometimes."

He grinned. "At least you don't have to go around in a costume."

"That's true," Suze chuckled. "You wouldn't catch me dead in tights and spandex. No way."

Flash grumbled. "Should have seen that one coming. It's not tights OR spandex."

He fell silent and glared at the screen, but maybe it was only a pretend glare.

"Oh no!" Suze teased with a faux look of horror. "Not the super pout!"

Flash's lips twitched, but he held his glare at the screens and grunted a little.

"Ooooh!" Suze cried, becoming more dramatic by the second. "And now accompanied by the super grunt! Impressive. I don't think I'll ever live this one down!"

Flash was having trouble keeping a straight face now, but he was doing an admirable job. He turned his head and focused his glare at Suze now, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow.

It was all very impressive.

Of course Suze wasn't about to lose a staring contest so she settled into her chair, arms crossed as she stared right back at Flash with as my intensity as she could manage.
