Thankfully, getting out of the watchtower with Suze's help was easier than expected. Wally had successfully hidden from Diana so that though she might have been suspicious, at least she didn't think something was terribly wrong.

In any case, they were back at Wally's apartment, Wally still in the now ill-fitting costume but at least moving around much more easily (he... she had been practicing on what was left of monitor duty). Once Wally got the door open, she practically fell into the apartment, hoping absolutely no one saw them.

She turned around and smiled awkwardly at the much more masculine Suze. "So. Uh. Hello again."

"Well excuse me if my bladder decided to hate me and be particularly weak today," Suze said, looking away from Wally. "I bet guys bladders are just naturally smaller than girls."

Wally snorted. "Yeah right. Excuses, excuses. It's not getting you out of paying me."

"I don't have that much cash on me," Suze sighed. "I'll get it to you after this stupid virus is over. Okay?"

Wally grinned. "Sure, whatever." She sat, relaxed and comfortable for a moment.

"So I take it you're done with the bathroom?"

Suze shuddered and refused to look back at the bathroom door.

"Yes."

Wally laughed and bounded out of the couch, zipping into the bathroom. She wasn't perhaps quite up to a comfortable full speed yet, but she was getting there.

Suze sighed yet again and stretched out on the couch. He wasn't tired anymore, but it was nice to relax. He closed his eyes and rested his hand on his forehead.

Wally, er, finished up in the bathroom and came out, yawning a little.

"So, what do you want to do?"

"Not really sure. When are you supposed to go to the mall?"

Wally shrugged. "I have no idea."

"Then how about some breakfast?" Suze suggested. "I'm pretty hungry."

"Breakfast it is!" Wally got up and zipped over to the kitchen to look in the cabinets.

"Uh, cereal? I've got... let's see... cheerios, lucky charms, and captain crunch."

"Please tell me you don't always have cereal for breakfast," Suze said as he walked into the kitchen.

Wally looked around at Suze with wide eyes. "What? It's easy and fast."

She rummaged around a bit more. "I mean, if you want to try making stuff, you can, but I've never had much patience for cooking."

"Fastest man alive and you don't have patience for cooking?" Suze smirked. "Mind if I check out what you've got in the fridge?" he asked.

"It takes too long! Or I kind of stop paying attention and it gets ruined. I can do basic stuff, though." Wally shrugged. "Go ahead, I'm going to stick with cereal for now."

"Guess I'm just spoiled from Andy making breakfast every morning," Suze said as he opened the fridge. He spotted a couple eggs and pulled them out. "Pans?"

"Who?" Wally was grabbing a bowl. "Oh, that cabinet." She pointed. "Utensils are there."

"Stepdad," Suze replied as he went to grab everything he needed. "The man cooks like there's no tomorrow."

"Gotcha." She sat down on a free counter with her lucky charms and munched, watching Suze getting his breakfast ready.

Suze heated up the pan over the stove and then cracked the two eggs, pouring their contents into the pan. As they began to cook and come to the right consistency she used a fork to scramble them.

When they were done she poured the eggs onto a plate. Grabbing the plate and a clean fork Suze hopped up on the counter next to Wally and began to eat.

"See. That wasn't so hard."

"Yeah, except I'm done, and you just started eating."

It was true. Wally had completely finished her cereal and was sitting with the empty bowl next to her on the counter.

"Ah yes," Suze nodded. "But my breakfast is delicious, while yours tasted like soggy sugar and cardboard."

He ate an extra large forkfull of eggs and smiled to prove his point.

"Hey, I happen to thoroughly enjoy Lucky Charms, thank you very much."

"I did too until that cavity in fifth grade," Suze mumbled with his mouth full of eggs.
