[Wally got a package in the mail! It's addressed to him and everything! EXCITING! He opens it up and... oh.

It's his superhero costume. He doesn't take it all the way out of the box, he just... stares at it.

Then he frowns and says, almost petulantly,]

Oh come on, that's just not fair.

So hey this whole mail business... so they give you some of your old stuff back after... weird stuff happens? Is this a regular thing?

The Postman will return your belongings -- ones you ask for, specifically -- so long as you're willing to trade a leg or a kidney or your childhood or your first love. If he's feeling amiable, he'll trade for something you already have that you'd rather be rid of.

In any case, the Postman himself doesn't seem to support the town, though he's not exactly on our side, either. There are worse people to run into.

It seems it's their way of.. making up to us for what they've caused. Isn't it just kind? [ She chuckles a little - obviously it's sarcasm. ]

Oh yeah, really nice of them. [He says it flatly, not quite sarcastic but definitely not sincere.]

It's truly too bad that what they give out aren't always the most useful things to have around in this place.

Well it's nice to have stuff back, no matter what it is, but really the thing to remember is that they took it away in the first place, so giving it back doesn't really endear them to me at all.

Technically they didn't take it away most of the time, they instead just 'left' it back home. But you're right, it's a ridiculous thing to do either way. Then again, they kidnapped us to this place to start with, so their intentions have never been good in any way.

Yeah, the whole situation is pretty ridiculous. But it's weird... what are their intentions? Does anyone know for sure?

Aside from making us live these fake lives? No, nobody knows.. They just want everyone to live here forever, but the exact reason for that is still unknown.

Who knows.. Maybe they're just insane.

They return things over a period of time. It seems everyone tends to get a lot back at the same time too, but it's normal to slowly receive stuff back.

They sometimes have a terrible sense of humour though, from what I heard. You could get something back, that you might not particularly want.

I heard you might be able to trade something in for something else, but I don't quite know the costs of that.

What were you hoping to get back?

Eh, it's not a big deal, but what they gave me is kind of useless if I don't have something else first, so. [TRYING TO BE NONCHALANT ABOUT IT. Secret identity and all.] And someone told me about the post office, apparently the price is pretty steep. I'm not nearly desperate enough to try it.

I guess that can be annoying. [Not that he really has a lot to try and bargain for. The upsides of not having superpowers perhaps.]

I guess you'll just have to wait until they give it back then.

Yeah, pretty annoying. I'm not great with the whole patience thing, but I guess there's a first time for everything.

It's this weird habit that most people have here, I noticed. People just start talking to each other and I feel like I have to pull names out of people. Wally West, nice to meet you.

((OOC: I actually had to hash this out but unfortunately it's true, this version of Wally has no clue who Dick is. There is no mention of any of the Robins or Nightwing in JL/JLU, and even if they do exist, there's no evidence that Wally would know any of them well enough to know their names and secret identities. IT IS VERY SAD BUT TRUE. That's what I get for playing DCAU Wally only.))
